Keep on Keeping

Hello my family and friends. This week here in Ghana was awesome!

This week Elder Kallon and I had so many amazing people to see. We found a lot of new people and had a great time teaching our current investigators as well. We are still teaching sister Unice and Brother Kelvin. Kelvin should be getting baptized this Saturday, and Unice was supposed to, but she is having some problems that we need to solve before we move forward with it.

This week was my companions birthday as well! We celebrated it yesterday with some going to Church and spending time with recent converts! Gotta love mission Birthdays! We've worked hard here and have had much success.

Today we went to the beach as well:) We had a multi zone activity at the beach! It was so fun. The sand is a pain though:)

Anyways, Dodowa is growing really fast, we are hoping that at the end of the year we will have Dodowa 1 and Dodowa 2. So we are really trying to influence the ward in a positive way.

Please pray for brother Kelvin who will be getting baptized this Saturday.  We are hoping that he will follow through with his commitment that he has made.

Anyways, that is all for my week, not much happened but it was still so fantastic!:)

Hello my dearest family and friends! How are you all? I want to thank you all for your prayers and support for me out here:) Thanks again!

This week for Elder Kallon and I was super awesome. We had our Zone Training on Tuesday. The Zone leaders helped us to understand that we should "Keep on keeping" with the work of the Lord. We were encouraged to keep working hard and meet the goals that we set each and every week! Since we are only focusing on 4 key indicators now, we should work hard to achieve the goals we have set for these key indicators!

It was such a wonderful training and we were all taught many amazing things. Elder Kallon and I focused on our baptism for the week. We have postponed sister Unice's baptism to another date, but our brother Kelvin was baptized yesterday!:) We are so excited for him to be in this church. Although, when we went for the baptism, the baptist couldn't manage to put Kelvin in the water! He tried like 10 times to put him under, but he couldn't do it haha. It was too funny! So we had to switch the baptists and do the baptism again! Finally he went under. It was such a marvelous experience seeing him baptized.

The Lord seems to be blessing Dodowa in so many ways. Earnest, one of our investigators that came to church yesterday for the first time and he enjoyed the services and classes so much. Even at the end of the church meeting, he asked if he could be baptized that day! Haha! Sadly we had to say no, but we will plan to teach him and hopefully give him a good date.

This work is truly amazing. This Gospel is true. We have had people come to this church, because they "felt they needed to attend." This is amazing evidence to me that this church is true.

Elder Kallon and I are continuing to do well with each other. Transfers are coming up, so I will let you know if it has affected us:)
